Corporación América, a company controlled by Eduardo Eurnekian,submitted a project to the Mayor’s Office of Montevideo, Uruguay. Theplan foresees the construction of a fast highway to connect the citydowntown and Carrasco area. The project will demand an investment of170 million dollars and its completion has been estimated in 36 months.
The Argentine company said the new highway would have six centrallanes, three in each direction. Eurnekian has already been in theUruguayan market through Puerta del Sur, the concessionaire of CarrascoInternational Airport, which has been recently reopened after aninvestment project for 165 million dollars.
